Clean for the Health of It

Environmental experts agree that the indoor air environment that we live and work in can be many times more contaminated than outside.

With the concern for fuel economy, residential and commercial properties were made more air tight to prevent the loss of heat. This new found heat preservation also presented the flow of fresh air from outside. Consequently, the build up of micro-toxins with in the indoor air environment has caused the inside of your home or business to be 2-5 times more polluted than outside.

The constant exposure to a vast array of microtoxins such as pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, petroleum chemicals, glues and adhesives has caused an increase in allergies, asthma and other chemical disorders.

Your furnishings and home systems do a credible job of keeping those microtoxins out of your breathing zone. Your carpet, upholstery, drapes and air duct system act as a sink to collect and hold these harmful pollutants.

Like your kitchen sink, when it gets full, it overflows. You become more exposed to harmful chemicals when this begins to occur.

Remember, when you heard the saying "a clean home is a happy home"? Well, we say, "a healthy home is a happy home"

Please see the chart below for recommended cleaning frequencies. From a health perspective, the US Environmental Protection Agency and most industry groups make recommendations based upon this frequency chart.

How often should you have your carpets cleaned? Most warranties require professional cleaning at least annually.
